Using Afterword

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login details and use the service only for lawful communications. You remain responsible for the content you send and for independently confirming important instructions.

Corrections and version history

Afterword updates the hosted message available at its link; it does not rewrite an email already delivered to a recipient's inbox. Corrections may generate recipient notifications. Earlier versions may be retained in a timestamped history for accountability.

Prohibited use

You may not use Afterword for fraud, impersonation, phishing, harassment, unlawful financial instructions, malware, deceptive content or any activity that harms another person or the service.

Important payment warning

Recipients should independently confirm unexpected changes to bank accounts, payment references or other sensitive instructions using a trusted contact method. Afterword is not a payment or escrow service.

Availability

We work to keep Afterword reliable and secure, but no online service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Features and plan limits may change with reasonable notice.
